I happened across a fragrance called Cranberry Ice, and mixed with a burgandy Mica colourant, brought out a burgandy with a very slight violet hue. This was my first batch using hot process (HP) and I have to tell you, I am impressed by how fast this recipe cures! I mixed it and cooked it last night and just a few moments ago had unmolded it. It was sturdy enough to even cut!
The fragrance however is a milder version of what smells like the Cranberry Frost fragrance from Bath and Body works! There were little bits left over from trimming the log prior to slicing the bars that I *had* to try it! All I can say is WOW! Good bubbles and very creamy.
This particular recipe contains organic Olive Oil, Coconut Oil, and Palm Oil. It will have to sit for roughly 1 week before it'll be ready to wrap and ship.
Here are some of the pics of when I freshly molded it, and after I cut the bars.

Recently I let everyone know on my Facebook page that I have demolded and cut these little darlings and have placed them on the drying board for a few days. I just checked them tonight, and they have a couple more days still, then I can wrap them! Here's some pics of them during their drying stage! (I also imprinted my favorite stamp on them, a celtic knot heart.

I had the opportunity to have a spa treatment using Dead Sea Salts in the bath. I thought it was going to be like the European bath salts but I was sadly mistaken! As a long sufferer of joint pain and sensitive skin, I was totally amazed at how these wonderful salts reacted in the water!

The Dead Sea is a popular center for wellness and health today, due to the fact that Dead Sea salts have been reported to have the following benefits:
Rheumatologic Conditions – Dead Sea salts can be effective in balneotherapy of Rheumatoid Arthritis, Psoriatic Arthritis, and Osteoarthritis. The minerals are absorbed while soaking, stimulating blood circulation.
Common Skin Ailments – Research has demonstrated that skin disorders such as acne and psoriasis are relieved by regular soaking in water with added Dead Sea salt. The National Psoriasis Foundation recommends Dead Sea and Dead Sea salts as effective treatments for psoriasis. One study concluded that the high concentration of magnesium in Dead Sea salt was instrumental in improving skin hydration and reducing inflammation.
Allergies - The high concentration of bromide and magnesium in the Dead Sea salt can relieve allergic reactions by cleansing and detoxifying.
Skin Aging – Further research into Dead Sea salt benefits has shown a 40% reduction in the depth of wrinkling.

The Coolwater Mens Shaving soaps are nearly ready to be wrapped! They've been curing for a bit now and smell so incredible. It's my favorite of the men's fragrances. I made it with Glyicerine soap base comprised of Saponified Soy oil, Vegan glycerine, Purified Water, Sorbitol, Propolyne glycol, Ginger, and Cool Water fragrance oil. All these ingredients are organic in nature and free of those nasty chemical preservatives!

Here are some pics of the batch in the mold.
The batch has been unmolded and cut, and am not just waiting for it to cure, then wrap it and list it in my etsy shop!
